* In South Africa, designed and implemented SHELL’s automation strategy which made SHELL the first oil company in the country to accept Debit Cards at Service Stations in a major joint systems development project with the chief banks and their transaction switching center. This resulted in a 20% increase in market share.

* In Chile, coordinated international specialists in producing a revolutionary fraud proof "rings" system for the Commercial Road Transport sector. Directed the design and development by specialists in Chile, New Zealand, Israel and Argentina. The market launch materials were produced in neighboring Argentina to preserve confidentiality. The system was extremely well-received by the lucrative CRT sector who left the market leader in Chile to sign up with Shell; one prestigious customer was the Chilean Presidential fleet of vehicles.

* Started and ran a consulting company in South America, with communications almost exclusively in Spanish.

As a consultant in South America:
* Invited to accompany SHELL Venezuela in their search for automation systems in the USA. Design of their Marketing related Automation Strategy, appropriate to the conditions in the Venezuelan market. Guidance given in the ongoing Project direction and execution.

* Invited to Colombia to advise SHELL Colombia on the design of their automation marketing strategy.

* Contract to assist ORPAK (Israeli manufacturer of automation systems). Advice and marketing support to ORPAK distributors in Colombia, Peru, Chile, Argentina. This included visits with them to their major clients and prospects, especially the oil majors in each of these countries: Shell, Mobil, Texaco, Exxon, YPF, EG3, SOL. Established appropriate marketing representation for ORPAK in 2 new countries with the largest markets: Venezuela and Brazil, and assisted with start-up in those countries.

Have increased revenues and profits in companies in the USA.
* Assisted a small family-owned company in southeast Utah that retails and wholesales Native American Arts and Crafts, and also has a restaurant. Its business had previously been very seasonal. Introduced a strong Internet presence and direct e-mailer communications program; their internet business now brings in more than a third of total revenues.

* Weimar Institute’s NEWSTART® Lifestyle Center web site had languishing hits and, as a result, not enough bookings. Redesigned their internet marketing strategy and communications. Hits grew exponentially. Before the marketing strategy and redesign, hits were down to 126/month. Within weeks hits had grown to 13,000 the first month, and within 6 months were surpassing 5000 hits a day. By 4 months, NEWSTART revenues had almost doubled.
